AUTUMN CUP 2006
The porto elounda GOLF CLUB and the porto elounda DE LUXE RESORT are pleased to announce the second porto elounda Autumn Cup Golf Tournament for Amateur Golfers to be played on 29th and 30th September 2006 at the porto elounda GOLF CLUB and the Crete Golf Club in Hersonissos, followed by a special competition on 1st October 2006 at the porto elounda GOLF CLUB.
The course at porto elounda is a 9-hole par 3 course with two tees per hole, resulting in a total length of 1896 meters when playing from 18 tees. The handicap equalizer factor for this course is 0.4 of the player’s official club handicap. The course at the Crete Golf Club is an 18-hole course with a total length of 6015 meters; here players will be allowed their full official club handicap as certified by their home club.
There will be separate competitions for ladies and gentlemen with a handicap limit of 36 in both. Club handicap certificates will be requested. The Porto Elounda Autumn Cup Golf Tournament will be scored as a Stableford competition with the top three players in both ladies and gentlemen’s competitions being awarded trophies.
Competitors in the Tournament will also be invited to participate in the special golf competition on Sunday, 1st October at the porto elounda GOLF CLUB. This will be a competition for all and will not be categorised between ladies and gentlemen. The top three players in the Sunday special golf competition will be awarded prizes from the Tournament Sponsors.
