THE NIGHTCLUB & BAR CONVENTION AND TRADE SHOW
CELEBRATES MUCH SUCCESS

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 28, 2011) – The Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show having wrapped its 26th annual gathering March 7-9, occupied over 176,000 square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center with 613 exhibiting companies. The show saw attendance rise to 31,000 attendees from last year’s 28,000 attendees. The most important beverage, bar and nightclub event of the year, the 2011 NCB Show also included the DIRECTV Hospitality Sports Marketing Conference as well as the Spirits of Mexico Las Vegas.

“The vibe at the show this year was incredible. We couldn’t be happier with the evolution of the NCB Show over its history of more than a quarter-century,” stated President of Nightclub & Bar Media Group, Jon Taffer. “This is one of the most creative, vibrant industries in the world, and I’m proud to have helped make NCB an annual platform where bar and nightclub professionals can network with each other, sample new products, move trends forward and just share the excitement of our industry.”

2011 NCB Show Highlights

Vibrant nightlife events, a rocking exhibit hall, and interactive education both in the classroom and on the show floor are all part of what keeps the hospitality industry professionals coming back year after year. Highlights from the show included:

• Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino attended the show with Devotion Vodka and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the exhibit floor
• Tom Leykis presented the celebrity keynote address at this year’s convention, entitled “Shock and Awe! Developing a Brand Mythology for your Club or Spirit that Evokes and Promotes.” Leykis also recorded interviews for his radio show, The Tasting Room
• The debut of the DIRECTV Hospitality Sports Marketing Conference with a keynote address by football legend Willie Gault
• Francisco Gonzalez was the keynote speaker for the Spirits of Mexico Las Vegas
• Performances by Camp Freddy and 51 Fifty during the Monster Concert Hour
• Other guests that attended the show included Ashley Ray, Josie and Steve Stevens, Kaya Jones and cast members from the new Vegas show Absinthe.
